UCI Cross-country Olympic World Cup from Nové Město na Moravě highlights

Nové Město na Moravě has won the event of the year nine times so has some fine pedigree when it comes to UCI Mountain Bike World Series racing. And, in 2023, it refused to disappoint. 

The final races of a packed weekend of Endurance racing took place last Sunday afternoon with a tantalising array of rivals old and new champing at the bit to get their seasons off to the best possible start.

A historic opener to the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series in South Korea saw Asa Vermette (Frameworks Racing / TRP) claim a sensational Elite debut victory while Vali Höll (Commencal Schwalbe by Les Orres) triumphed despite a flat tyre. On a demanding brand-new course, Junior wins for Aletha Ostgaard (Canyon DH Racing) and Jonty Williamson (Yeti / Fox Factory Race Team) capped a thrilling start to the season.
