Media accreditation for the 2026 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series is now open. You can apply for both season passes and one-event passes through our accreditation platform.
Media accreditation for the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series is reserved for media representing legitimate and established media outlets. All media accreditation requests are subject to review and approval by the WBD Sports Press Office, who reserves the right to approve or decline any application.
In addition to completing the standard media accreditation form on the platform, the applicants are required to submit supporting documentation. The specific documents requested may vary depending on the type of media accreditation applied for.
Please ensure you carefully review the requirements and submit all necessary materials to avoid delays in the accreditation process.
1. Written Press and Photographers
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format
A valid press card for the current year (national, international, AIPS, or AIJC)
An assignment letter from your media outlet or client. The letter must include:
Signature of the editor or equivalent
Editor's (or equivalent) phone number
Editor's (or equivalent) email address
Proof of previous coverage of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, other UCI mountain biking events, or any other major sporting events, submitted in PDF format (clippings)
Photographers: must provide samples of published photos, with the photographer's name/credit in the publication.
Journalists: must provide samples of published articles, clearly showing the journalist's name in the publication.
A minimum of three press clippings is required. Content published on personal social media channels, personal websites or portfolio platforms will not be accepted.
Photographers must also provide valid personal injury insurance covering their professional activities in order to be issued a bib.
2. Team Photographers and Videographers
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format.
Assignment letter from the team, which must include:
Signature of the team manager
Team manager’s phone number
Team manager’s email address
A valid personal injury insurance covering professional activities must be provided in order to be issued a bib.
WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series Teams: A maximum of three media accreditations per team is available.
Wild Card Teams: A maximum of 1 media accreditation per team is available.
3. Online Media (Digital/Radio/Influencers/YouTube) & Non-Rights Holders
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format
An assignment letter from your media outlet or client. The letter must include:
Signature of the editor or equivalent
Editor's (or equivalent) phone number
Editor's (or equivalent) email address
A valid personal injury insurance covering professional activities must be provided in order to be issued a bib
4. TV Right Holders
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format
A valid personal injury insurance covering professional activities must be provided in order to be issued a bib
5. WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series Official Partners
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format
Assignment letter from the official partner or supplier of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series
A valid personal injury insurance covering professional activities must be provided in order to be issued a bib
6. LOC Media Staff
A passport-style ID photo in .jpg format
An assignment letter from the LOC Press Officer at the venue explaining the duties of the media representative at the event
A valid personal injury insurance covering professional activities must be provided in order to be issued a bib
As part of the registration process, you will be required to read and accept the full WBD Sports Media Accreditation Policy. Please ensure you carefully review the rules and media rights information before submitting your application.
Please note that only complete applications including all required information and supporting documentation will be reviewed. Applications containing incomplete or inaccurate data, or failing to include the requested documents, will result in automatic denial of the accreditation request.
Media accreditation closes on the Friday of the week preceding each event.
