The trails that spiral their way from the cliffs high above the towns of Pietra Ligure and Finale Ligure to the Ligurian sea below have played host to some of mountain bike racings most captivating battles.
The famous Italian round may have moved from its traditional position as the ceremonial season ender to the curtain raiser on the European races but its allure and promise of intrigue remain unabated. Thursday is practice day for the E-Enduro and Enduro racers as they battle to learn an action packed set of stages across just one run of each:
Not only does the iconic Italian venue host the third round of the Enduro World Cup but it’s also set to be our first chance to see the racers of the E-Enduro World Cup. E-Enduro features the same set of stages but with the addition of technical climbing stages.
