Josh and Ric’s 2024 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series team changes

Join Josh Carlson and Ric McLaughlin at UCI HQ in Switzerland for their complete run-down of a busy few months of musical chairs.

Many experts were predicting that this off-season would be a relatively quiet one in the wonderful world of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series rider market. But they couldn’t have been more wrong. Instead, we have been treated to a veritable landslide of big names changing squads.

Amongst the stars of the Endurance side of the paddock there may not have been too much movement due to Paris 2024 looming large on the horizon but in Gravity there have been some seismic shifts. Josh Carlson and Ric McLaughlin took some time out on a recent visit to UCI HQ in Aigle, Switzerland to run through some of the biggest changes.

NB: Since this video was filmed there have been further changes. Aaron Gwin’s move to Crestline Bikes stands out as perhaps the biggest amongst them. Read more about it, here.

There is not long to wait ahead of the 2024 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series gets underway in Mairiporã, Brazil 12-14 April.
