Where it is?

MONA YongPyong in PyeongChang, South Korea, is a premier mountain resort and a top destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Famous for hosting the 2018 Winter Olympics’ alpine skiing events, it offers world-class slopes, scenic trails, and modern facilities. In summer, visitors can enjoy mountain biking, hiking, and cable car rides with breathtaking views of the Taebaek Mountains. Blending adventure, nature, and comfort, YongPyong provides a year-round alpine escape for travellers seeking excitement and relaxation.

What’s the course like?

It’s always thrilling when there are new venues / courses on the calendar, and the anticipation for this one is through the roof! On the Cross-country course, we can expect to see a course that really utilises the natural terrain of the area, meaning lots of steep climbs and shoots, multiple line choices and off-camber descents. It’s going to be one that favours the more technical riders. The Downhill course is expected to be short and fast, with a mix of technical forest, high speed sections and some big jumps.
