Despite only beginning her cross-country racing career in 2021, she has made rapid progress in the sport. In 2025, Tyler claimed both the Elite Women’s South African XCC National Championship and the U23 Women’s XCO National Title, solidifying her status as one of the country’s top young riders. She also opened her season with top-10 finishes in both U23 XCC and XCO at the 2025 UCI World Cups in Brazil. Known for her fearless descending, explosive starts, and strong work ethic, Tyler has quickly become one to watch in international U23 racing—with plenty of headroom still to grow.
